Samsung Galaxy S7 Launch #TheNextGalaxyJa

Samsung certainly knows how to serve you breakfast!! They did just that, for which I was grateful, when I got invited to their launch of the Samsung Galaxy S7 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel on Tuesday March 29th 2016 at 9:00 a.m. For those following  Geezam Tech Blog, this is the same Samsung Galaxy S7 given away by Digicel’s Sponsorship and Development Manager Kamal Powell at the Bacchanal Fridays’ ‘Digicel Night’ on Friday March 18th 2016 as noted in Digicel’s Samsung Galaxy S7 Giveaway hints at Samsung Launch Event. Still, I was quite excited as I sauntered through the automatic doors of the Pegasus Hotel at 8:25 a.m., to see the crowd-pleaser of MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2016 as described in Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge makes a big splash at MWC 2016. Android M, Android Wear, Android Pay and Cardboard VR are the stars of Google I-O

Google I/O 2015, held over a two (2) days span from Thursday May 28th 2015 and Friday May 29th 2015, saw everything I'd expected in my article Google IO 2015 - Google Android VR coming as Android Wear turns it up a Notch  but in greater detail! And as in the past, the most interesting stuff occurred both before and on the second day of Google I/O. Android M - AI that can handle your Money, your Privacy and your Power On Thursday May 28th 2015, Google unveiled the next iteration of the Google Android operating system, codenamed Google M, which is currently available for Developers only to tinker with and design new apps. No name on what the “M” means, but if I had to hazard a guess I’d say “M” means “Marshmallow”, which goes great with biscuits. It has a nifty new feature, calle...

Google I/O 2015 – Google Android VR coming + more Android Wear

It's official. Google I/O 2015, which has been set for two (2) days on Thursday May 28th 2015 and Friday May 29th 2015, should now be a date on your calendar. The conference, set to land at San Francisco's Moscone Center has already begun accepting registration for the event since March 17 at 9 a.m. PT/5 p.m. GMT and lasted until March 19 at 5 p.m. PT/1 a.m. GMT. At US$900, this is really for serious Developers of Apps and Chrome Web Apps as this year, Google is set to unveil a major push into the Internet of Things, Virtual Reality and even Self-driving Cars. Google Android 5.0 Lollipop is set to take centerstage, despite the slow level of adoption of the new OS as pointer out in Android Lollipop on the fences as Kitkat munches away at Jellybean. Still, it's coming to the Samsung...

Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition expands your Galaxy

Another surprise from the recently concluded MWC (Mobile World Conference) that Samsung has chose to unleashed upon the world is their commitment to VR (Virtual Reality) with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Gear VR Innovator Edition. This latest update to the original Samsung Galaxy Gear VR, which originally only worked with a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phablet as detailed in my article Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a flatteringly fabulous Phablet with an improved S Pen. However, this new Developer Edition works with the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also neatly described in my article Samsung Galaxy S6 and Edge at MWC 2015 coming to Mash up Jamaica. Samsung Galaxy Gear Developer Edition – Ergonomic Design but Lack of VR Content  The Samsung Gear VR Innovator Edition, lik...
