Warner Brothers to make MineCraft movie following Success of The Lego Movie

Warner Brothers has inked a deal with the Creator of MineCraft and head of the Game Developer Studio Mojang, , Markus “Notch” Perssons, who lives in Sweden, to make a movie about the popular Community Brick-Building Game, MineCraft. When this bit of news popped up in my Twitter Feed, I thought it was yet another attempt by Hollywood to make another Mortal Kombat or Resident Evil, the last set of movies adapted from Games I knew that were commercially successful. You known, a movie based on a popular Video Game.
