There have been howls of protests for the Apple community about my article How to connect Xbox One Controller to any Computer or Laptop on connecting the very popular Microsoft Xbox One Controller to the Computer. This is because in that article, I'd said “any Computer or Laptop”, which wasn't entirely true, as the Driver included at the end of the article only works for PC. What therefore, must the Apple iMac or Apple Macbook Pro do to connect a USB Controller, such as the PS4 Controller to their computer? However, their protests are unfounded as the Mac OS already provides support for a variety of USB Controllers, even connecting to them via Bluetooth. Sony Launching PS4 on November 15th

Sony has confirmed that the Playstation 4 will be will be launching on November 15th in the U.S. and Canada and November 29th in Europe and Latin America. A November launch date was expected but Playstation fans and retailers can make the necessary preparations for a busy pre-christmas season that will also see the launch of the Xbox One which is without a confirmed date but expected in the same month. Sony Teases PlayStation 4 ahead of Xbox event

Sony has cheekily tried to divert attention from Microsoft's event where it is expected to reveal details on the new Xbox by releasing a very short teaser trailer for the new PlayStation 4 and promised more information at their E3 press event on June 10th. The trailer (embedded above) shows little snippets of  the console such as the Playstation Logo, cooling vents and a blurred-out look at the console that will be sure to console gaming fanboys excited. Good one Sony.

Sony Teases February 20 PlayStation Event

Sony has fired the first shot in the war for the hearts, minds and pockets of the next generation gamers. Teasing an event slated for February 20th that will allow gamers and industry professionals to "see the future" of the PlayStation brand. With the current generation of video game consoles being the longest in a while and 2012 being a poor year for the video game industry many were and are still wondering if we are witnessing the demise of the home console. For a few months I had been looking for a new mobile computer to replace my underpowered netbook, and although tempted I decided against getting a tablet as I required functionality that tablet just didn't offer or couldn't do well enough.
