Microsoft hasn't decided on a new name for thier IE replacement but internally and on tech blogs it has been code-named "Project Titan". “We’re now researching what the new brand, or the new name, for our browser should be in Windows 10," said Microsoft's marketing chief Chris Capossela at the Microsoft Convergence conference Monday. Project Glass – new video and Limited Pre-orders

Ever since Project Glass was revealed by Google in April 2012 I have followed the project's development. Information on the project is sparse and since Google I/O last June there hasn't been much new information. That changed today with a new video, images and information about limited pre-orders for "explorers". In the US? Apply to get an early release version of Glass! On the Google Glass website, Google is asking bold and creative individuals to be "explorers" who can apply to be a part of  a test program. To Apply interested individuals apply using the #ifihadglass hashtag using not more than 50 words and/or 5 photos and a short video. For a few minutes while reading I thought I would have been able to apply but alas potential explorers must be living in the US. I really hope tha...

Nvidia shows off “Project Shield” mobile gaming console

The first major reveal of CES 2013 surprisingly comes from chip maker Nvidia who has surprisingly revealed details about their new handheld gaming console code named "Project Shield". The handheld will be powered by Android Jelly Bean and have access not only Android games but games from the download service Steam. The system is powered by Nvidia's new quad-core Tegra 4 chip, has 5-inch 720p multi-touch display, wi-fi connectivity and integrated display. I am not sold on its clam-shell design and I'd describe it the product of a Xbox, Ps3, 3DS and Wii-U mating session. However, this is the most exciting but of gaming hardware news in a while, lets see how it develops. More details: shield.nvidia.com

Google+ Social Networking Project revealed

The social networking world has been turned on it's head as Google has finally showed it's hand with the official revelation of Google+. It has been rumored for many months now that Google was working on a project to "take on Facebook", but with the not so successful forays into the social networking space Google has had recently many (including) myself weren't really sold. However if you try hard enough at anything you should learn from your mistakes right? and with Google+ being touted as an extension of Google itself there is a lot on the line and no room for failure.
