How to extend your smartphone’s battery Life with a Portable Battery Charger

By now you’ve graduated to the “Smart” Crowd as I’d instructed you to do in How to transfer Phone Contacts and Data from your Blackberry to your Apple iPhone or Google Android smartphone or Tablet even as the “In” Crowd tote their Blackberrys about Town. Still, you may have notices that your smartphone has a habit of running out of charge ever so often when you need your precious to keep you entertained at the Bus Stop or to drone out that annoying Preacher on the JUTC Bus. So what to do to prolong the Battery Life of your smartphone or Tablet? Not much really, as these Li-Ion Batteries are inherently unintelligent. It’s really up to how you use your device; you’ve gotta makes sure you don’t have any app running on your smartphone and also set it to Airplane Mode when you’re on your ...

Portable Email Clients for USB Drives makes Sending Email Safe and Mobile

If you like my article Posting Tweets and Facebook Updates via Email secretly is fun, you may realize there’s a hitch to all of this. It’s only possible to post to Facebook and Twitter if you have access to Webmail i.e. going to Google, Yahoo or other Email client to access and read your Email. More importantly, the fulfillment of the chilling prophetic words spoken by Hideo Kojima, Creator of the Metal Gear Solid series game saga of video games that began in 1987 at the launch of the new Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker game for PlayStation Portable (PSP) for Konami Corp on April 2010AD in Tokyo. What did he say that is of relevance to my rant? He spoke thus, saying:  “In the...

Sony’s NGP turns into Playstation Vita – pricing and specs released

At a press event in Japan in January Sony unveiled the "true" successor to the Playstation Portable. At their press event at the E3 2011 Sony revealed lots more about the NGP starting with it's finalized name the Playstation Vita. Why that name? "Vita" means "life" in Latin and Sony explain's the name saying "...it enables a revolutionary combination of rich gaming and social connectivity within a real world context. By blurring the lines between interactive entertainment and reality, our goal was to design a device that offered a revolutionary combination of rich gaming capabilities and social connectivity, bringing u...
