How to take High Quality Photographs with the Samsung Galaxy S6

On Tuesday July 28th 2015, I presented myself front and center at the Samsung Experience Store in Tropical Plaza in Half-Way-Tree. I had travelled all the way from Milk River, Clarendon to cover an important story related to the Samsung Galaxy S6 as described in Samsung Galaxy S6 and Edge at MWC 2015 coming to Mash up Jamaica, or more specifically, the taking of photographs with the camera. I arrived at 10:09 am, a tad late but feeling a tad odd. After all, today is a Tuesday. Why would Samsung have an event on a Tuesday instead of a weekend? Especially when their last big launch, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge, was at the Pegasus Hotel on Friday April 17th 2015, some three (3) months ago as reported in The Future is Now as Samsung Galaxy S6 launches in Jamaica? Skycam Jamaica Aerial Photography marks possible Revival of Package Delivery in the Jamaica Postal Service

The dream to fly is one that many Jamaicans wish was theirs….as soon as they could figure out how to “palm” some money to buy their Aviation License. But alas all is not lost; you can get permission from the JCAA (Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority) and do what Skycam Jamaica is doing: Aerial Photography and Videography, both Live and still. Skycam Jamaica is the brainchild of Architecture Student Ravi Sittol and his partner-in-crime Gabriel Heron who wears the cap of Commercial Director in this two (2) man joint venture that launched earlier in 2013. Their company Skycam Jamaica does Live and Still Photography and Video from a different view, that is literally flying way up above using their mini fleet of Battery powered Hexa-copters (it’s got six rotors!), as evident from Skycam Jamaica...

Yahoo Revamps Flickr and ups free storage space to 1 Terabyte

Not long ago Flickr was the undisputed king of the social media hill when it came to photography. However after years of being the leader by being on the bleeding edge of innovation Yahoo allowed the property to stagnate and it was eventually overtaken by newer trendier products such as 500px and other social media offerings such as Facebook, Tumblr, Google+, Instagram which offered more than just a online gallery with a few community and sharing features tacked on. Yahoo has revamped Flickr and increased the available free storage on the site to a whopping 1 terabyte. For the less tech savvy among us; 1 TB = 1000000000000 bytes = 1000 gigabytes, the average total hard drive space in computers these days is about half a terabyte or 500 gigabytes. What this means is that Flickr users can s...
