Flow Jamaica reduces data charges when roaming

Flow has announced a significant reduction in data-roaming charges. Launched on February 23, Flow mobile customers now pay a new data-roaming rate of only $50 Jamaican dollars per megabyte (MB). The new rate is applicable in both the United States and 45 other countries across the globe. “We are excited to announce that our customers can now use data, without fear or restriction, while travelling. Previously, data roaming was considered a premium service for travellers. Customers who need to top up their phone’s credit but are short on cash, or simply can’t make it to a top-up station, no longer have a problem. Prepaid mobile customers now have an easy way to top up with the innovative Flow Lend App. Using the App, which is available for Android and iOS smartphones, customers can now request credit advances or recharge “loans” if their accounts are nearing a low balance and they can’t afford to pay for a top up or aren’t near a top-up center. Once the loan is approved, the amount is added to the customers’ account and they can call, text and even access data. A couple that can be mentioned are the Flow eGames Feva FIFA 16 tournament and Clan Pro Circuit's Street Fighter V Invitational. Let's not forget some of the local tournaments held around the Island. Despite those tournaments, there hasn't been a break out major tournament since the Cyberbox C.E.L Games in 2015.
