Most young Jamaicans; university and college graduates, have become locked into the vicious failed cycle that is the Jamaican job market. There are very few options available with little prospects of creating your own job even if you develop a product that fills a niche and has attracted attention from potential customers. Why is this so? The answer is that in Jamaica there has developed a cycle of doom where you either conform with the norms of society or fail and leave the country to go make success somewhere else.
