New Twitter Profiles more than just a Facebook-like Redesign

A new Twitter design is coming; if fact it has already arrived for a select few celebrity tweeters like Michelle Obama, Floyd Mayweather and the lovely Kerry Washington. The early verdict seems to be that the new design is just a ripoff of Facebook's design but those with a keen eye will see how much of an improvement the updates will be for Twitter users. Twitter's growth has stagnated in recent months but it still remains very relevant and useful. The new design comprises of a new wide background photo with profile picture at the top but that's where the Facebook similarities end. Youtube gets another layout and feature tweak

You may or may not remember Youtube's design and layout revamp exactly one year ago after doing its successful cosmic panda experiment. This is unfortunate as articles like this are exactly whey Geezam.com was started so that it could offer insight and experiences from real tech enthusiast and consumers with first hand experience using products and services. Better late that never but I just thought it was worth pointing out that Taylor and by extension Geezam was probably one of the first blogs to predict this development – Kelroy Brown Editor-in-Chief - Geezam.com The i...

Jamaica’s Lost Innovators – An untapped Source of Economic Prosperity

The late American Economist and Professor at the Harvard Business School, Theodore Levitt is quoted as saying that “Just as energy is the basis of life itself, and ideas the source of innovation, so is innovation the vital spark of all human change, improvement and progress.” Professor Michael E. Porter, author of "The Competitive Advantage of Nations," speaking on the topic of Innovation is noted as saying that “Innovation is the central issue in economic prosperity.” Examples of Jamaican Innovation I remember hearing about a young Jamaican who made a one man helicopter out of scrap metal and stuff he found lying around places like junk yards. The Chopper was opened using a magnetic strip similar to what's on credit cards. In addition to this, it had an on board computer along with a ...
