LIME Caribbean’s US$1.05B Major Network Upgrade – Boost to Regional Economies

Regional economies are set to receive a big boost as CWC, LIME's parent company, mobilizes 'Project Marlin' - its US$1.05b investment-led strategy. This major network upgrade investment of US$1.05b represents a 30% or a US$250m CAPEX increase over the previous year. By this increased spend on network upgrade, LIME brings the latest telecoms technology - island-wide Superfast 4G and 4G LTE plus Superfast fibre optic Broadband to its Caribbean markets. MiFi Hits Cayman thanks to Digicel and LIME

With devices getting smaller and more internet ready, internet access on the go has been an issue here in the Cayman. Thankfully, Mobile ISP providers Digicel and LIME have heard the call and have both addressed the issue. Their answer was MiFi. MiFi (A clever acronym for Mobile Wifi) offers internet connectivity over the air for up to 5 wifi enabled devices at a time. So you can have your iPad, iPhone, Netbook, Kindle, iPod and soon to own PSVita all connected to the internet wirelessly via your very own wifi hotspot.
