Hearthstone now available on iOS and Android Mobile Phones

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is a fast-paced strategy card game that is deceptively simple and insanely fun. It has been around for over a year and was only previously only playable on computers and tablets. Blizzard has now launched a version for mobile phones that should prove to be very popular.   The mobile version features a custom board and layout for the smaller screens of smartphones. All progress made while playing Hearthstone on mobile is also synced with your account so cards you unlocked or will unlock while playing will be available no matter what platform you play on. Blizzard is also giving away a free card pack to players who complete a game of Hearthstone on their mobile phones! Download Hearthstone now from the iTunes App Store, Google Play, or the Amazon...

NVIDIA Shows off the $999 GTX Titan

Popular graphics card manufacturer NVidia today revealed the Nvidia GTX Titan, a beast of a graphics card both in power and price. Billed as a GPU for supercomputers the GTX Titan's true triumph is its efficiency and size. It generates less heat, consumes less power, runs quieter and is small enough to fit into compact PCs. The Nvidia GTX Titan contains 2,688 CUDA cores, 6GB of GDDR5 RAM, and 7.1 billion transistors and will be available starting on February 25. Far too rich for my blood but in a year or two these powerful cards should trickle down from the cutting edge PC enthusiasts to the regular gamers like me. More Information - NVidia GTX Titan

Despite what you may wish to say about Apple, they are truly the real innovators in the Telecoms World when it comes to smartphones. Their Apple iPhone with its introduction of Capacitive Touch Screen that removes the physical keyboard has become the much envied and copied smartphone tech in the UE (User Equiptment) world. And now with 4G Internet available on both Digicel and LIME and my guide How to Access LIME or Digicel’s 4G Internet using an unlocked 4G LTE Modem Dongle, smartphone or Tablet you have more reason to leave the “IN” Crowd still banging away at their semi-extinct Blackberrys and join the “smart” crowd with you newly imported smartphone. Possibly the only other thing that’s stopping you is how to import your Data from your beloved BB to a smartphone such as the Apple iPh...

How to use Scotia VISA Debit Card Online

Those of you who read my little adventure in getting my Scotia VISA Debit Card in my last article ScotiaBank’s VISA Debit Card – Jamaica’s Online E-Commerce Renaissance, may have noticed that I had mentioned using my new best friend to shop online as well as received payments online using PayPal. “How do I do that”, you may be asking, nose wrinkled in consternation? Even better query: “how do avoid being robbed on the Information superhighway?” You are indeed correct to be concerned. Using Payment methods online, be it a Credit or Debit Card, is fraught with the same level of danger, as both can be stolen and your funds used by unscrupulous hackers or phishers to purchase items or withdraw funds without your knowledge. More on such hacking methods in another tightly tailored article....

ScotiaBank’s VISA Debit Card – Jamaica’s Online E-Commerce Renaissance

Last year Christmas 2011AD must have left many a Jamaican in the New Year 2012AD dry as a bone, a financial state often expressed in the phrase “Tamarind Season”. With Ben Johnson Day aka the day before payday coming up on Thursday 26th January 2012AD, many a monthly salaried employee may be broke because they overspent on their Debit Card – or should I says Scotia VISA Debit Card. This latest product from Scotiabank deserves honourable mention by yours truly, as like NCB (National Commercial Bank) KeyCard Cash PinLess Debit Card, it brings the convenience of Credit Card shopping to the lower rung employees who are not Credit-worthy enough to get a VISA, MasterCard or Discovery Card to do online shopping. It also gets my nod, as the presence of VISA Debit Cards from ScotiaBank, which w...
