One Laptop Per Child XO-3 Concept

The concept form of the latest version of the $100 laptop was unveiled recently. The touchscreen tablet-like device was shown off my the One Laptop Per Child Group who are a non-profit organization which aims to allow children in the developing world to have access to affordable technology. XO-3 is expected to be put into use in 2012 and cost around $75. It will replace the current models of $100 laptops currently in use by the OLPC and the booklike XO-2 model displayed previously will be shelved. (more…)
