Microsoft officially unveiled its Windows Phone 7 launch portfolio today along with the it’s plan and outlook for the Windows Mobile 7 platform. Microsoft wants to create a unique but functional user interface, combining the Windows Mobile experience with other services such as Xbox Live while strictly controlling the hardware that Windows Mobile 7 is installed on.
Nine phones from manufacturers like HTC, LG, Samsung and Dell will be available just in time for the 2010 Holiday season for the major cellular service providers in the United States, also, more than 60 mobile operators across Europe, Australia and Asia Pacific are on board to bring Windows Phones to emerging markets with the aim of increasing market share.
