HP may haved killed off it’s WebOS powered tablet offerings but it is going full steam ahead on the Windows tablet front. It’s latest offering being the HP Slate 2 the successor to the HP Slate 500. The HP Slate 2 is targeted at the enterprise market where HP hopes businesses and professionals looking to remain in the familiar Windows environment will consider their tablet instead of Apple’s iPad or the slew of Android powered tablets which are primarily for the consumer market.

The HP Slate 2 is powered by Windows 7 and has a 8.9-inch capacitive multi-touch screen,  1.5 GHz processor, 64gb of memory, SD card slot and up to 6 hours of battery life. The HP Slate 2 will have a starting price of $699 and will be available later this month. More details in the embedded video below.
