Google Maps has been updated and now includes a very useful weather layer that allows users to see the weather conditions of anywhere on earth. This should prove extra useful for travelers and for planning various activities that could be affected by the weather.
The Weather data is provided by Weather.com and can be enabled by accessing the layers section to the right of Google maps and enabling “weather”. Take the new feature for a spin at maps.google.com and check out the information and demo video below.
