Virtualmall was really one of the few innovations which although nothing new in the tech world but new for Jamaica there simple yet effective. Virtualmall is an online store with a database of several Jamaican stores/companies of all areas automotive, electronics, consumes etc. and a customer is able to order from that company from that one website instead of going to several locations (physically or virtually) one would be able to purchase from several of our local stores whether via their ‘virtual card’ or via conventional credit card.
Jamnav is our own locally breed as I like to call it GPS service done by the Mona Geo Informatics Institute which I was told has full island coverage. It’s not a new innovation either since this has been being done abroad by popular companies like “On Star” for years but the usually limitation was that there was no real dedicated or full layout coverage for Jamaica.
DCDigital I think their name was I’m not sure because all they had to represent their booth was a banner there were no flyers, booklet or brochures present to in anyway make an attempt to expound on their service instead all they had was a television in the background surrounded by women in bikinis simulating what I could only call a beach or pool side I have no idea what that had to do with the technology aspect perhaps it was to promote their concept of “television on the go”. DCDigital was promoting their service of bringing local television and some cable channels directly to your cell phone which kind of phones and their requirements to support this I could not get a clear answer to and after the explanation given to me by one of their representatives after seeing the expression on his face like even he wasn’t sure exactly what were the requirements we settled at that a smart phone was required.
Watts New had a 3D Television on display it was simply exceptional well at least for persons like myself who are only use to DVD quality visuals I watched the popular 3D movie Avatar in theaters with 3D glasses and it was nothing compared to the 3D television on display and this was so even without wearing the 3D glasses provided for use with the television.

you must have been there reeaally early lol
Yes Owen I was trying to avoid the clutter of people and hoping to compete very little with people to shoot the booth I didn’t shoot two specific booths because they were kinda swarmed, couldn’t get any detail shots of the booth it was just people, those surveillance booths may have made some good business.
Amazing information. I have bookmarked this site.
I really enjoyed what you had to say.
