P3 Communications declares Flow Jamaica as the #1 Caribbean Mobile Network

“Our results are verifiable and unequivocal. P3 has a global network quality testing framework that is used around the world in 65 countries. We are experts in our field and leaders in this field globally for a number of years.”

Managing Director of P3 Communications Hakan Ekmen, , the company that conducted the independent benchmark.

The results are in and the good news for Flow customers!!

They are actually enjoying the best quality network and service levels in the region as measured against the competitor in at least six markets tested so far. So says independent benchmark testing agency, P3 as summarized in the infographic below:

Garry Sinclair, Caribbean President at C&W Communications, operators of Flow is clearly  is quite pleased, quote: “This is fantastic, we are delighted to have received such a resounding endorsement that Flow is indeed the #1 network in the Caribbean, and the best part about it is, we didn’t say it – the experts did. What an endorsement!”.

So how did P3 arrive at this conclusion?

P3 ranks FLOW Jamaica as #1 – Real deal or P3 Communications seeking consultancy work from Liberty Global

P3 Communications is an independent technical and management consulting services with 3,000 consultants and engineers working to develop and implement innovative solutions to the automotive, aerospace, telecommunications and energy industries.

In the telecommunications sector, P3 communications provides network planning, end-to-end optimization, security, QoS and QoE testing, international benchmarking, device testing and acceptance services. Their many clients include network operators, equipment vendors, device manufacturers, public safety organizations and regulatory authorities around the world.

P3 performed benchmark tests across Flow customers in six (6) territories namely:

  • Antigua
  • Cayman
  • Jamaica
  • Montserrat
  • Lucia
  • Turks and Caicos

They concluded that FLOW Customers:

  • Experience fastest downloads
  • Have the best call set up time
  • Experience unmatched video experience
  • Have significantly better upload speeds and quality
  • Experience superior browsing more than 90% of the time

To summarize, when compared to the other network, as FLOW Jamaica is apparently twice as good as they are:

Quality of Network in: Flow Competitor Flow is better than the competitor by more than
Jamaica 527 342 ~2x

So FLOW customers should be happy, as they are getting value for money, as to quote Garry Sinclair:  “our customers can rest assured – when they log on to the Flow Sports App to watch its exciting content on their favourite handheld device anywhere in any of these six islands, they are getting the best customer experience money can buy. And if they are downloading a movie or simply browsing the Internet they can get no better service than from Flow. The results speak for themselves and we are proud to include them here.”

Not so sure about this, especially as P3 Communications did not do all of FLOW’s 14 Territories. Dear reader what do you think about this latest ranking? Is it the real deal or is P3 Communications flattering FLOW Jamaica to boost company morale and gain more consultancy business from Liberty Global, the owner of C&W Communications and the FLOW brand!!
