“We’re very proud to stage this camp, because we feel strongly about training young minds, equipping them to operate in this new, more fast-paced world where innovation is key. We wanted to give the opportunity to young people who perhaps would otherwise not have had it, so we have asked for participation from 10 Primary schools in the corporate area.”

As robotics and technology become commonplace agents of change and progress in countries worldwide, Jamaica has taken note. In line with this, the SVL Junior Creators Camp aims to increase students’ interest in technology. This is with a view to improve their performance in the sciences, which can impact their communities and the nation at large.
