Huawei the world’s leading networking and telecommunications equipment manufacturer has been making great strides in Jamaica. Huawei has racked up several accomplishments since establishing a presence in Jamaica nine (9) years ago.
On November 22nd 2016, Huawei and Intcomex signed an agreement to market platform of value added solutions and technology products which was announced at the J Wray and Nephew’s TwentyThree Bar at 23 Dominica Drive in New Kingston. This agreement marks another significant move by Huawei to solidify its position in the Jamaican marketplace.
The first co-innovation focus area will be the ‘Stability of Huawei in Jamaica’ which will bring a new approach to combining Intcomex’ direct relationships with over 80 branded vendors and hundreds of generic and OEM manufacturers. In the region, Intcomex operates in over 15 countries and boasts an active reseller channel of over 1500 partners.
Intcomex’ strong relationships with their vendors allow access to a large pool of knowledge, expertise and technology which Huawei will take advantage of to strengthen its distribution. This will impact Huawei’s bottom-line significantly as both companies are looking forward to embarking on this journey together.

Huawei and Intcomex new strategic partnership will focus on promotion of Huawei’s Mate 8 and P9 family. Both companies will be combining their resources to build the Huawei brand in Jamaica.
