CyberBox eSports League All Star Games: That’s A Wrap…


The epic gaming weekend of March 13 – March 15 has made its mark on the Jamaican landscape of gaming and eSports. It was without a doubt the biggest outpouring of gamers from near and far under on roof all for the love of gaming. I even heard of one female that traveled from Port Antonio to be a part of the festivities; now that’s what you call passion for gaming right there. So over the course of the three day gaming spree there where varying tournaments ranging from mobile games like Candy Crush to PC games like Hearthstone and even bringing back classics like Tetris. Here is the rundown of all the tournament winners:


Empire Arcadia Represented In The Ultra Street Fighter IV Teams Competition


Team Dragongig wins the CyberBox eSports League: All Star Games League of Legends Championships.


Team: #FAJ came out swinging in the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 tournament


Empire Arcadia’s #Silverbirds Captain Dean Barnett and 2nd place teammate Donswell Rodway take the win along with the assist for FIFA 2015 Championships at the CyberBox eSports League: All Star Games


CyberBox eSports League: All Star Games Tetris Ultimate Champion Triforce Johnson.


Halo: Combat Evolved 1st place winner – Orane “enaro9” Miller


Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution winner Jin


First place winner of the Hearthstone tournament Squidy


Second place winner of the Hearthstone tournament High Hemplar

Tammie Chambers took home 1st place and a lot of goodies for the Candy Crush competition.

With that being said you will definitely want to keep an eye out or the upcoming episode of The Lab Game TV which will have interviews with some of the key members of the gaming community at large here in Jamaica that were in-house supporting the CyberBox eSports League All Star Games. Watch The Lab Video Game TV on Flow Channel 100 which airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:00pm, 7:30pm and 10:30pm respectively.
