Look like Apple’s Event to launch the Apple iPhone 6S has been set for Wednesday September 9th 2015 at 10AM Pacific Standard Time.
So says the colourful invite sent out by Apple today to Journalists and Tech Bloggers, which was also the same invite posted on Apple’s Website.
The event is slated to take place at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, a massive venue capable of seating some 7,000-person, implying that they’ll be announcing something groundbreaking.
So what expected, aside from Apple iOS 9, Mac OS X 10.11 aka El Capitan and Apple Watch 2 OS as predicted in Apple WWDC 2015 debuts OS X 10.11, Watch OS 2.0 and Apple Music?
Apple Event on Wednesday September 9th 2015 – AI Siri, Improved iPhone 6S, Apple TV and iPad with keyboard cover
First off the bat, the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, possibly sporting a reinforced body constructed from 7000 Series aluminum that’s a lot stronger. An A9 processor is expected but 2GB RAM is unlikely albeit possible along with a significantly improved iSight camera.
Aside from these educated guesses based on the significantly quieter rumour mill, virtually nothing is known about the dynamic duo, but rumours have been flying around suggesting that Force Touch is in the works.
Based on the Invite, expect Siri to also feature strongly, possibly with AI (Artificial Intelligence) capabilities to answer Voice Mail being debuted for the first time, possibly even launching their own VoIP or MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) Service similar to Google Fi.
Apple Music, Apple TV and Apple iPad – Great Christmas Expectations
Apple may also reveal some numbers for Apple Music, such as how many of those 11 million free subscribers they have converted to paying subscribers.
Apple may also choose to reveal details on their Streaming Set To Box hobby Horse, the Apple TV.
They’ll probably reveal whether or not features such as a Processor and Memory upgrade, a TV subscription service and finally a bump up to 4K Support along with IoT (Internet of Things) integration into the Apple Home Ecosystem has been included.
Finally, I’m also expecting a significantly larger Apple iPad made for Professionals with improved Processor and Force Touch. The Apple iPads may again feature the Apple SIM that Apple introduced for some Apple iPad Air 2 and the Apple iPad Mini 3 in 2014.
For this reason, I’m also expecting a built in keyboard that’ll combined with iOS 9, making it more like the Apple Air and less like a Tablet.
Hopefully before the time arrives, Siri will be more than willing to drop us a hint as to what’s up with the Cupertino Kids from Apple Headquarters at 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California.
