The 7 inch powerhouse has all the bells and whistles of his older brother and competitors such as the Lenovo IdeaPad K1, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Toshiba Thrive and ASUS Eee Pad Transformer. It supports HD resolution, WiFi, Bluetooth, front and rear facing cameras, NVIDIA GeForce Graphics, USB ports, HDMI port and expandable memory visa MicroSD cards.

The Acer Iconia Tab A100 is available now and will cost $330 for the 8BG version with the 16GB version costing a little more. There are a lot o options in the Android powered tablet sphere it will be interesting to see how things heat up come Christmas.

  1. Well I don’t see why individuals would purchase this for $333 when I see the 10″ version of the Eee Pad Transformer and ever the Acer A500 being sold for 360-380 brand new.

    • not everyone pays attention only to price. Some people want the added portability of a 7 incher vs a 10 incher. The only different is the screen and battery life, everything else is the same.

      • Hhhmm true but those prices seem too close to me for the overall bang for buck if I was going for a 7″ and I saw a 10″ for a price that close to the 7″ I would get it but as I do get you as a Netbook user I understand the importance of portability.
